Veronica Blanco Sanchez joined Perley-Robertson, Hill & McDougall in 2021 after completing her summer and articling programs with the firm. Veronica completed her JD at the University of Ottawa in 2020 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts as well as a Master of Arts in Sociology from University of Waterloo in 2016 and 2017.

Throughout law school, Veronica volunteered as a Pro Bono Caseworker at the Employment Law Clinic, as well as Community Legal Services of Ottawa where she assisted clients with immigration matters in addition to those seeking Ontario Disability Support. Veronica also served as an Intern at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, conducting legal research related to international asylum processes and refugee determination systems.

Veronica’s practice focuses on general litigation, particularly in the areas of labour and employment, civil litigation, commercial litigation, administrative law, and privacy law. She is passionate about advocacy and access to justice and is proud to be able to assist clients in both English and Spanish.
