{"id":1764,"date":"2013-05-10T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2013-05-10T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/perlaw.ca\/2013\/05\/10\/articling-student-recruitment-applications-due-may\/"},"modified":"2013-05-10T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2013-05-10T00:00:00","slug":"articling-student-recruitment-applications-due-may","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/perlaw.ca\/fr\/2013\/05\/10\/articling-student-recruitment-applications-due-may\/","title":{"rendered":"Articling Student Recruitment \u2013 Applications due May 21, 2013"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Are you interested in gaining valuable hands-on experience while getting to know the largest independent law firm in the National Capital Region?<\/p>\n<p>At Perley-Robertson, Hill &amp; McDougall, we follow the Law Society sanctioned procedure for recruiting articling students in Ottawa and are currently recruiting for a candidate who can work effectively in both English and French.<\/p>\n<p>The schedule for the articling recruitment process for 2014-2015 articling session is as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All applications must be submitted by Tuesday, May 21, 2013; <\/li>\n<li>Call Day for offers is Wednesday, June 19, 2013.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Your application package should include your r&eacute;sum&eacute;, a short (10 pages maximum) writing sample such as a memo, a case brief or an essay, and law school and undergraduate transcripts. If a short writing sample is not available, you may provide us with an excerpt from a lengthier piece.<\/p>\n<p>These items should be forwarded to:<\/p>\n<p>Margaret R.
