This year&rsquo;s&nbsp;winners were announced in a special magazine in The Globe and Mail this morning.&nbsp; The full list of winners is available at:&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.canadastop100.com\/sme\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">http:\/\/www.CanadasTop100.com\/sme<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Canada&rsquo;s <em>small and medium enterprise<\/em> (SME) sector is tremendously important to the nation and is responsible for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ic.gc.ca\/eic\/site\/061.nsf\/eng\/02812.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">over      half<\/a>&nbsp;of the nation&rsquo;s gross domestic product; <\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ic.gc.ca\/eic\/site\/061.nsf\/eng\/02805.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">nearly      90%<\/a>&nbsp;of the private-sector labour force; and <\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ic.gc.ca\/eic\/site\/061.nsf\/eng\/02806.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">over      three-quarters<\/a>&nbsp;of the new jobs created in the past decade<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Employers are evaluated by the editors of&nbsp;<em>Canada&rsquo;s Top 100 Employers<\/em>&nbsp;using the same eight criteria as the&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.canadastop100.com\/national\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">national competition<\/a>: (1)&nbsp;Physical Workplace; (2)&nbsp;Work Atmosphere &amp; Social; (3)&nbsp;Health, Financial &amp; Family Benefits; (4)&nbsp;Vacation &amp; Time Off; (5)&nbsp;Employee Communications; (6)&nbsp;Performance Management; (7)&nbsp;Training &amp; Skills Development; and (8)&nbsp;Community Involvement.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Perley-Robertson, Hill &amp; McDougall is extremely pleased to be recognized as one of <em>Canada&rsquo;s Top Small &amp; Medium Employers<\/em> and as a <em>National Capital Region Top Employer<\/em> earlier this year.&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Perley-Robertson, Hill &amp; McDougall is pleased to be recognized as one of Canada&rsquo;s Top Small &amp; Medium Employers for 2015.
