He regularly advises clients on complex transactions, including acquisitions and divestitures, venture capital and private equity financings, joint ventures, and securities and business law matters, providing practical, business-focused guidance tailored to each client\u2019s objectives.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cBrian has earned the respect of clients and colleagues alike through his strong technical skills, sound judgment, and collaborative approach,\u201d said Robert Kinghan, Co-Chair and Partner at Perley-Robertson, Hill &amp; McDougall LLP\/s.r.l. \u201cHis promotion to Partner reflects both the depth of his legal expertise and his commitment to the firm\u2019s values of excellence, integrity, and service.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition to his legal practice, Brian is deeply engaged in the Ottawa community. He has served in numerous board and volunteer roles, including currently as a member of the planning committee for the CCLA East Region Solicitors Conference, and as a director of the Ottawa Sport Council. His commitment to service also includes 15 years in the Canadian Army Reserve, including a deployment to Kandahar, Afghanistan, from 2008 to 2009.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cI am honoured to join the partnership at Perley-Robertson,\u201d said Brian Kells. \u201cThe firm has a strong culture of collaboration and client service, and I\u2019m grateful for the support and mentorship I\u2019ve received throughout my career here.
