Courtney joined the Litigation Law Group at Perley-Robertson, Hill & McDougall LLP/s.r.l in 2019 after completing both her summer and articling program with the firm. Courtney graduated with her Juris Doctor (JD) at the University of Windsor in 2018 where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Windsor Review of Legal and Social Issues. Courtney was also an avid moot competitor throughout law school, winning best respondent factum with her team at the Donald G.H. Bowman Tax Moot in 2017.
During her articles, Courtney assisted in complex arbitral proceedings and helped develop and instruct University of Ottawa’s first ever Law of Cannabis course. Courtney has successfully represented clients at settlement conferences, on motions, assessment hearings, and in trial before the Small Claims Court of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. Courtney’s experience, along with her motivation and thorough work ethic make her a valuable member of our Litigation Group.
