Perley-Robertson, Hill & McDougall Welcomes New Articling Students to Firm

OTTAWA, July 28, 2014 – Perley-Robertson, Hill & McDougall LLP/s.r.l. is proud to welcome five outstanding articling students to complete their placement period with a leading independent law firm in the National Capital Region. The 2014-2015 articling students are:

Max Gennis – Max graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School and also has an undergraduate Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from McGill University. While in law school, he volunteered at the Community and Legal Aid Services Program.

Devon Lehrer – Devon graduated from Queen’s University Law School, having spent one year at Bond University in Australia. He has a Masters of Applied Science, Chemical Engineering from Queen’s University, and a Bachelor of Science (Engineering), Chemical Engineering from Queen’s University as well. While at law school, he was a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant.

Nina Ziolkowski – Nina graduated from the University of Ottawa English Common Law Program, with an undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto in Ethics, Society and Law. While at law school, she was an intern and volunteer with Reach Canada and active in the Young Leaders Forum, Canadian Centre for Diversity.

Josée Menard – Josée graduated from the French Common Law program at the University of Ottawa and has a Bachelor of Social Sciences from the same university.  While at law school, she was a caseworker at the University of Ottawa Legal Clinic, an Assistant Editor of the Ottawa Law Review and participated in the Heenan Blaikie Moot Competition.

Saam Nainifard – Saam graduated from the English Common Law program at the University of Ottawa and also has a Bachelor of Social Sciences from the same university.  He has worked at Canadian Blood Services as well as at the West End Legal Services through the University of Ottawa Clinic.

Each articling student participates in five rotations over a 10-month placement, each with a different practice focus. All students are supported by a dedicated Principal (Partner), Mentor (Associate), Research Director, Librarian, and Articling Committee.
