Amanda Kavanagh

Amanda Kavanagh is a Senior Corporate Law Clerk at Perley Robertson, Hill & McDougall, with over 15 years of experience specializing in corporate law, transaction management, and corporate documentation. She supports our corporate practice by independently managing complex files, collaborating with lawyers and accountants, and leading initiatives to improve efficiency in corporate operations.

Throughout her career, Amanda has handled a wide variety of matters: minute book maintenance; drafting and filing articles of incorporation, continuances, amalgamations, dissolutions, and amendments; preparing share and asset purchase agreements; facilitating share transfers, estate transfers, and family trusts; preparing documents for commercial lending, restructuring, and corporate reorganizations; and ensuring compliance through due diligence searches and regulatory filings. She also has significant experience in tax-driven reorganizations, working closely with legal and accounting teams to support seamless execution of complex structures.

In addition to her file and transaction work, Amanda leads efforts to streamline processes at the Firm. She has overseen transitions from paper to electronic minute books, implemented file management checklists, supervised junior clerks, and coordinates updates to reflect changing corporate filing requirements. Her strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to excellent client service inform everything she does.
