Jessica Barrow

Jessica Barrow joined the Litigation Group of Perley-Robertson, Hill & McDougall in 2013 following her articles with the firm, and joined the firm’s partnership in 2022. While she has accrued experience in a broad range of litigation matters, Jessica primarily focuses her practice on labour and employment, administrative and human rights litigation. Jessica’s practice involves labour arbitrations, collective bargaining, the hiring, discipline and discharge of employees, and general labour and employment advice for large scale employers and unions, collective bargaining and litigation before a variety of administrative tribunals.
Jessica has accrued specialized expertise in managing employee discipline and accommodation issues as well as directing clients through transformational change, restructuring or sale, and navigating the wide array of harassment issues arising in workplaces. Jessica’s practice adopts a risk management lens to navigating employee and labour relations issues in workplaces which extensively range in size, industry and nature.
Jessica has appeared before numerous courts and administrative tribunals, including all levels of Court in Ontario, the Federal Court, the Human Rights Tribunal and the Ontario Civilian Police Commission. Jessica also regularly provides training to employers, discipline adjudicators, and discipline and harassment investigators, as well as a variety of other risk management and workplace issues.
