Sarah Kennedy
Head of Family Law Group
Sarah Kennedy joined the Family Law Group at Perley-Robertson, Hill & McDougall in 2021 after gaining extensive experience at various noteworthy Firms within Ontario.
Sarah completed her legal studies at the University of Ottawa in 2008, followed by an Articling position at the National Judicial Institute. Sarah was subsequently called to the Bar in 2009.
Sarah has worked as an acting Senior Advisor at the National Judicial Institute, as well a Family Lawyer at Legal Aid Ontario. In that capacity, Sarah represented numerous clients in a variety of different proceedings, including motions, trials, Hague Convention applications and interjurisdictional support matters. Prior to joining Perley-Robertson, Hill & McDougall, Sarah was operating her own private practice in the area of family law. Sarah is certified in advanced family mediation, and has extensive litigation experience, including matters pertaining to custody, access, child and spousal support, equalization, and trust claims.
Sarah has served as a member of the Annual Institute of Family Law Planning Committee and as Co-Chair of the New Lawyers and Articling Students Planning Committee.
