Perley-Robertson, Hill & McDougall Welcomes Talented Law Students to Firm
OTTAWA, May 15, 2012 – Perley-Robertson, Hill & McDougall LLP/s.r.l. is pleased to welcome five talented summer law students to the firm. The 2012 summer students are:
Maria Cristina Harris: Maria is a student in the University of Ottawa English Common Law Program with an Undergraduate Degree in Arts and Science from Queen’s University. She has worked as a legal intern on a migrant workers advocacy project in Chicago and on a project for Habitat International Coalition in Chile. She has also been a Student Policy Researcher for Senator Mac Harb.
Brett Hodgins: Brett is a student at McGill University, taking a joint MBA and Law Program. He has an undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree from Queen’s University, majoring in Politics and History. He has worked as a summer law student at the Ontario Securities Commission, Compliance and Registrant Regulations Branch, has been a page at the Legislative Assembly of Ontario and has previous experience as summer law student.
Irena Kramer: Irena is a second year law student at the University of Windsor, having an Undergraduate Bachelors Degree in Philosophy with Honours from Glendon Bilingual College. She has been both a summer law student and a senior legal assistant with another law firm.
Anne-Marie Magneron: Anne-Marie is a student of the French Common Law Program at the University of Ottawa, having done her Bachelor of Arts majoring in History at the same university. She has been an Assistant Editor at the University of Ottawa Law Review and a Research Assistant to Dean Bruce Feldthusen. She has also been an Assistant to a Solicitor in Sydney Australia, and an Administrative Assistant to the Office of the President of the University of Ottawa.
Jennifer Williams: Jennifer is a student in the French Common Law Program at the University of Ottawa and has an undergraduate degree in Commerce, specializing in Accounting from the University of Ottawa. She has extensive experience working on legal research for Supreme Court of Canada appeals and has also been a Research Assistant for the Public Law Group at the University of Ottawa.
