Perley-Robertson, Hill & McDougall LLP/s.r.l. is pleased to announce that Vladimir Nikitin now leads the Firm’s Personal Legal Needs and Estate Planning & Administration Groups.

Vladimir’s practice is focused on wills, trusts, estates, and incapacity planning, where he advises individuals, families, business owners, and their professional advisors on complex estate planning and administration matters. He is known for delivering thoughtful, customized solutions designed to protect family legacies while minimizing unnecessary tax exposure, costs, and disputes.

Prior to joining Perley-Robertson, Hill & McDougall LLP/s.r.l., Vladimir worked at a leading Canadian trust company as a Senior Trust Advisor, where he advised clients on sophisticated trust management and administration issues. He also gained experience at prominent estate planning law firms in London and Hamilton, Ontario, building a strong foundation in complex estate and trust matters. He is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

“Vladimir brings a rare combination of legal depth, trust industry experience, and a client-first mindset to his practice,” said Anthony McGlynn, Senior Partner and former Head of the Personal Legal Needs and Estate Planning & Administration Groups at Perley-Robertson, Hill & McDougall LLP/s.r.l. “His leadership reflects our continued commitment to providing practical, sophisticated estate planning and administration advice to clients at every stage of life.”

Vladimir joined the Firm in 2024 and has practiced primarily in the areas of wills, trusts, and estates since his call to the Ontario Bar in 2016. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and a Bachelor of Civil Law (B.C.L.) from McGill University, and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Carleton University.

“I’m grateful for the opportunity to lead these practice groups and to continue working alongside such a strong, collaborative team,” said Vladimir Nikitin. “Estate planning is about far more than documents, it’s about understanding families, their values, and their long-term goals, and helping them navigate complex decisions with clarity and confidence.”

Perley-Robertson, Hill & McDougall LLP/s.r.l. looks forward to Vladimir’s continued leadership and contributions as he advances the Firm’s estate planning and personal legal needs practices.
