Kate Terroux

Kate Terroux is Research Director for Perley-Robertson, Hill & McDougall. She joined the firm in 2025. Kate has broad experience and has provided legal, policy and governance advice to organizations across a variety of industries including unions, membership-based organizations, global financial institutions, law firms, government, and health care organizations. She has also appeared before administrative tribunals, parliamentary and senate committees in federal advocacy roles.
Kate was called to the Ontario Bar in 2006 following studies at Dalhousie University. She is skilled in providing research as well as advice and counsel to clients on a diverse range of issues, including administrative, not-for-profit corporate governance, labour and employment, human rights, public, health and privacy law.
Kate adds value for clients of the firm through efficient approaches to research, innovative legal and strategic insight, as well as the proactive management of legal and reputational risk. She also has leadership experience and enjoys providing mentorship and research support to students at the firm.
