Perley-Robertson, Hill & McDougall LLP/s.r.l. Welcomes Brian Kells to the Partnership Team

Perley-Robertson, Hill & McDougall LLP/s.r.l. is pleased to announce that Brian Kells will be joining the firm’s Partnership team, effective January 1, 2026.

Brian practices corporate and securities law, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and a wide range of corporate and commercial matters. He regularly advises clients on complex transactions, including acquisitions and divestitures, venture capital and private equity financings, joint ventures, and securities and business law matters, providing practical, business-focused guidance tailored to each client’s objectives.

In addition to his legal practice, Brian is deeply engaged in the Ottawa community. He has served in numerous board and volunteer roles, including currently as a member of the planning committee for the CCLA East Region Solicitors Conference, and as a director of the Ottawa Sport Council. His commitment to service also includes 15 years in the Canadian Army Reserve, including a deployment to Kandahar, Afghanistan, from 2008 to 2009.

Brian was called to the Ontario Bar in 2016. He holds a Juris Doctor and a Bachelor of Social Sciences from the University of Ottawa.
