Perley-Robertson, Hill & McDougall LLP/s.r.l. Celebrates Brian Kells as a 2026 Forty Under 40 Recipient

Perley-Robertson, Hill & McDougall LLP/s.r.l. is proud to announce that Brian Kells, Partner, has been named a recipient of the 2026 Forty Under 40 award, recognizing emerging leaders who are making a significant impact in their professions and communities.

Brian is a key member of the Firm’s Corporate Group, practicing corporate and securities law with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and corporate/commercial matters. He regularly advises clients on a wide range of complex transactions, including acquisitions and divestitures, venture capital and private equity financings, joint ventures, and other strategic business matters.

Since being called to the Ontario Bar in 2016, Brian has built a reputation for delivering thoughtful, practical counsel to clients navigating important growth and transition milestones. His ability to combine technical expertise with a strong understanding of business objectives has made him a trusted advisor to organizations across industries.

Beyond his legal practice, Brian remains deeply committed to community involvement. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Ottawa Sport Council and has previously contributed his time and leadership to organizations including the Parent Resource Centre and the Ottawa-Carleton Ultimate Association. His ongoing volunteer and pro bono work reflect a strong dedication to giving back and supporting the communities in which he lives and works.

Brian’s commitment to service is also reflected in his 15 years with the Canadian Army Reserves, including a deployment to Kandahar, Afghanistan, from 2008 to 2009.
