Joshua Nutt

Josh Nutt joined Perley-Robertson, Hill & McDougall in 2022 after working at a local litigation boutique. Josh completed his JD in 2016 (cum laude) and an undergraduate degree in political science in 2013 (magna cum laude), both from the University of Ottawa. While in law school, Josh worked at a federal administrative tribunal and participated in an employment insurance legal clinic.

Josh always strives to keep his clients well informed of their options, so that he can work collaboratively with them to find a solution that meets their needs. He has appeared before a variety of administrative tribunals as well as the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court, and the Court of Appeal for Ontario.

Josh is involved with the local bar and has spoken at the Carleton County Law Association’s Civil Litigation Conference as well as the Kingston & the 1000 Islands Legal Conference. He also volunteers regularly for causes in his neighbourhood and for Pro Bono Ontario’s Free Legal Advice Hotline.
