Administrative Tribunals

Administrative tribunals are decision-making bodies other than courts, but issues before them can be as important as those faced by any court. Proper representation is crucial. Tribunals cover a range of employment and labour issues, including workplace safety and human rights. Tribunals can also include oversight of commercial and other activities. As such, Perley-Robertson, Hill & McDougall’s Administrative Law team may represent individuals, commercial corporations, not-for-profit entities, associations, and unions.

Tribunals can be statutory bodies created by federal or provincial mandate, or in certain cases, may be industry-supported. Each tribunal has its own rules of procedure, requiring its own specific expertise. Our Administrative Law specialists have the experience across a range of tribunals to efficiently and effectively represent our clients in these unique formats. When warranted, our team has the expertise to challenge decisions by administrative tribunals in federal or provincial court.
